"Knotty" is 26'x 9'3"x 29" - carvel hull built in Brighton Victoria by Glen Stewart in 1971. Glen worked for Jack Pompie and Kenny Lacco - before going out on his own. She is powered by a 40hp Perkins marinised by Volvo with a 2.7:1 reduction gearbox. Amenities include a galley area, toilet, 50ltrs of fresh water, 120 lts diesel in two stainless steel tanks, depth sounder, VHF radio, Alpine stereo radio system, 12 volt lighting including night lights and bedside reading lights, two comfortable single berths with bedding (a V berth is optional) a stowable polished timber table and drinks holder, 60 ltr. Waeco ice fridge (3 bags last 5 days), spirit stove (excellent performance), crockery and cutlery, plenty of cupboard space and under seat/bunk storage, tools and spare parts including belts filters oils etc., good fenders, 4 x mooring lines, a readymade tow bridle and tow rope, safety gear including 5 life jackets, EPIRB, flare kit, fire extinguishers etc. She also has dual 180ah batteries and USB charger.

"Knotty" has had over $20k spent on her in the last 6 months, with new engineering from the prop nut to the front V belt idler, including new engine mounts, elec fuel pump, prop shaft, prop, stern tube couplings and bearings. She's also received a magnificent new paintjob.

"Knotty" was fully refurbished by Frecheville Heaney Boat Builders around 2010, and has been properly maintained and loved since then.
