"DOLPHIN" is a 1966 Lacco Brothers Huon Pine timber motor launch, carvel planked and built in Melbourne. Constructed with GRP-sheathed timber decks and a plywood/timber superstructure over traditional timber framing, she offers classic lines with the benefit of practical upgrades.

Powered by a 42hp four-cylinder freshwater-cooled Vetus diesel with only approximately 150 engine hours, she drives through a three-blade bronze propeller, cruising comfortably at around 6 knots while consuming approximately 6 litres of fuel per hour.

Accommodation is ideal for relaxed weekend cruising, with an open-plan wheelhouse and forward lock-up cabin incorporating a compact galley, enclosed head with porta potti, and two forward bunks. The helm station is positioned to port amidships, providing excellent visibility and easy access to all controls.

Fuel capacity is 40 litres, with a 40-litre freshwater tank onboard. The electrical system includes a dedicated heavy-duty starting battery, separate house battery, and an independent battery for the automatic bilge pump, maintained via a solar panel.
