Details
"Tranquil-Liza" is a very special lady, proudly owned and loved by the same family for many years, and cared for as one of the family. They originally owned her on Lake Eildon where she had spent her life in fresh water, and brought her to the Gippsland Lakes around 10 years ago when they retired here. Originally constructed in plate steel by Jack Harper of Scott Bonner Engineering in 1970 and fully zinc dipped after the build, leaving her corrosion free to this day. The build quality is also evidenced in the 'fairness' of the hull with barely a weld line to be seen. Her bright interior is a tasteful blend of lovely timber-work and quality neutral coloured furnishings. There is storage built into every available space. She can sleep up to five with the dinette converting to a double plus a single bunk forward and the 2 settee berths in the saloon. There is a galley opposite the dinette and an enclosed head with hot shower. Her engine is a quiet and economical Holden 186 with electronic ignition and closed cooling. There is plenty of entertaining space in saloon and cockpit areas, connected by double doors, and the flybridge area also has lots of useable space and a second helm station. Here's some of the numerous features of "Tranquil-Liza":
- Lewmar bow thruster
- Lewmar electric windlass with stainless Delta anchor
- Ducted cabin heating
- Stow-away saloon table
- Remote operation spot-light
- Large stainless swim platform and boarding steps
- Second hot shower at transom
- Deck-wash
- Bimini, full flybridge cover and window shade screens
- New 100 lt plastic waste tank
- Stainless fuel and fresh water tanks
- Plastic water ballast tanks each side
- Solar charging
- Toolkit and plenty of spare parts

"Tranquil-Liza" is beautifully presented and a credit to her meticulous owners. She was last slipped in November 2020 and is ready for enjoying the rest of the summer.
